Most Millennials receive financial support from their families. According to Country Financial, 53% of 21-37-year-olds have been given a financial boost from parents, guardians, or other family members since they turned 21. The top three ways they reported getting a monetary leg-up was in the form of family paying their cellphone bills, pitching in for rent, or helping out with groceries and gas. But not all are receiving cash money: 25% of Millennial parents said their parents help out by providing child care or housework. (NYT)
