Young shoppers are opting for snacks and pre-packaged meals—but they still want them to be healthy. Compared to 25-39-year-olds when they were the same age, today’s 18-24-year-olds are 8% more likely to snack between meals, 18% more likely to prefer meals that are easy to prepare, and 29% more likely to eat microwavable dinners.
