Cosmetic procedures are up 47% since 2013, with 72% of plastic surgeons saying they’re seeing more patients under-30-years-old on their operating tables. Doctors also told The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery that many of their patients want to up their selfie game. But they’re not necessarily going under the knife: four-fifths of 2018’s procedures were non-surgical, like preventative Botox, with many opting for “natural” rather than “overly-enhanced” looks.
