Christmas tree shopping is getting a high-tech twist with augmented reality. Never again will Target shoppers buy an artificial tree that scrapes their ceiling if they download Target’s app and use the “See It in Your Space” feature. Like similar offerings from Wayfair, Ikea, and Overstock.com that allow users to virtually furnish their spaces, Target’s feature lets users place a virtual Christmas tree in their home before deciding to buy.
