Fidelity debunked Millennial financial myths in their new study. The generation says they're prioritizing paying basic living expenses, including phones, cars, and even mental health. Two of their other financial priorities are building emergency and retirement savings. And most don’t have a YOLO mentality: 66% said “saving for their future is as gratifying as living for the moment now.” But social media is making it harder for them to save, with 60% saying it's “a negative influence” on their spending.
