Lengthy work emails are being replaced by gifs, emojis, and other visual communication shortcuts. Millennial and Gen Z employees are ushering in an era of shorthand that workplaces can benefit from embracing. Visual cues allow for “layers of context” that can’t be achieved by text alone.
