Poetry is making a comeback, thanks to entrepreneurial Instagram poets. Rupi Kaur said that “she approaches poetry like ‘running a business,’” selling more copies of her debut book than Homer, while another social media famous poet Atticus runs an online store to pedal merch. Brands are getting in on the craze, too. Cleo Wade’s critically-acclaimed verses have made their way into Gucci ads and on Nike sneakers.
