Climate scientists are taking to Twitch to teach Fortnite-obsessed teens about global warming. On Twitch channel ClimateFortnite, scientists play Fortnite and Eco for an audience while teaching a wide array of climate change issues. Viewers can ask questions and start debates with the streamers, building a community that can prepare the youngest generation to take on tomorrow’s problems. So far, the channel has just 257 followers, but it’s gaining momentum and showing a new way to utilize the gaming phenomenon and esports craze. (Wired)
