Nearly six in ten teens have been cyberbullied. The Pew Research Center found that 59% of 13-17-year-olds have experienced one of six kinds of online abuse, with the most common kind being name-calling. Though nearly equal numbers of boys and girls report being cyberbullied, girls were 13% more likely to have false rumors spread about them and 9% more likely to have received unwanted explicit messages.
