Spirit Halloween is betting that Fortnite characters will be some of trick-or-treaters’ favorite costumes this October. The seasonal retailer teamed up with Epic Games to offer costumes based on the Fortnite phenomenon, and predicts the rise of esports will cause other gaming getups from the likes of Halo and Overwatch to be on-trend, too. Millennials’ favorite mythical creature (unicorns) and movies will also continue to inspire looks, from Hocus Pocus witches brewing up nostalgia to Hotel Transylvania vampires.
