Snap is bringing new styles of Spectacles to market, even though they were left with tons unsold the first time around. The new incarnations are sleeker, lighter, notably less Snapchat-branded than the first, and sold online (not from vending machines). Though Snap is clearly committed to creating their own hardware, initially reactions have not been positive—but don’t make too many assumptions about the brand’s “demise.” (Wired, Business Insider)
