Playtime is getting scheduled out of kids’ lives. Nearly nine in ten families that engage in five or more hours of playtime each week are happy, but busy schedules are keeping many from meeting that quota. The LEGO Play Well Report 2018 found that 30% of families across several countries spend less than five hours each week playing. Six in ten parents said that other daily demands bite into their playtime and 81% of kids wished their parents played with them more. (Kidscreen)
