PepsiCo is purchasing SodaStream as they switch from sugary to sparkling. The DIY carbonated water company expects to grow by 23% in 2018 while PepsiCo is only estimated to gain 2.3%, which should come as no surprise since sparkling water is one of Millennials’ and teens’ favorite things to drink. This isn’t PepsiCo’s first foray into fizz-filled territory either. They also launched Bubly, a LaCroix competitor, earlier this year. (Recode, NPR)
