Starbucks is debuting a kombucha line for wellness-focused Millennials. The trendy bottled beverages will be a part of their Evolution Fresh brand, and will come in flavors like Turmeric Pineapple Coconut and Ginger Greens. Ypulse data shows that 19% of 18-35-year-olds have tried kombucha, and Starbucks is basing their move to take on the Millennial & Gen Z beverage trend on research from IRI that found the fermented beverage category spiked 36% in 2017. The kombucha line will roll out in select cities before a wider release. (USA Today)
