LEGO is using Amazon’s smart speaker capabilities to sell to Generation Voice Activated. The toy brand has launched two Alexa skills, betting that interacting with and buying from brands via voice will continue to grow. They’re also experimenting with augmented reality on Amazon because (as one exec puts it) “there’s so much to capitalize on than just purely a marketplace,” and they’re not letting any opportunities pass them by.
