Millennial women are more finance-savvy than men but underestimate their own know-how. Meanwhile, men overestimated theirs: 17% of 18-34-year-old women told Market Strategies they “completely understand” insurance and financial terms while 34% of their male counterparts said the same. In actuality, the women in the survey selected the correct answer 1.4 times as often as the men. Ypulse found that teen girls are less confident than boys, and it looks like that trend may continue into adulthood and affect their financial attitudes. (bizwomen)
