Millennial parents may want more children, but their bank accounts are holding them back. Their experiences with the recession (and attempting to get a job during it) have made them more financially cautious for the future. It’s no wonder a survey from Upshot found that 64% cite childcare costs as a reason for having fewer kids. The housing market (especially in popular urban areas) is reportedly also shutting out some that need more space. (Romper)
