Despite being infamous for short attention spans and on-demand expectations, Fluent Commerce found that 47% of 14-24-year-olds would wait 5-7 days for shipping and 24% will even wait 10 or more days. Defying another stereotype, many said they prefer to shop in-person because, as one Fluent exec explained, “shopping is something to do.” Our trend report found that young consumers’ expectation for faster shopping experiences grows as they age up.
