Nickelodeon is going off the air for three hours to encourage kids to play outside. Towards the end of September, Nick is celebrating Day of Play across all of its kid-focused channels. Nick Jr., Nicktoons, TeenNick, and NickMusic will all be suspended in the afternoon, while Nickelodeon hosts playtime activities across the U.S. The brand will be hyping the day throughout the summer with a full roster of partnered events to keep kids busy IRL—and there will be plenty of slime.
