Ain’t nobody got time to go to the grocery store, so Walmart is partnering up with Postmates for grocery delivery. Walmart has paired up with Uber, Deliv, and now Postmates to bring groceries to time-starved young consumers, and Postmates calls the move “a way for Walmart to better compete with Amazon.” The service is starting in Charlotte but is planned to expand “soon.” Across partnerships, Walmart plans to become available to 40% of U.S. households across 100 metro areas in 2018.
