Adidas isn’t afraid to admit that their latest shoe was designed for Instagram. Their Global Design Director explains that Instagram images of shoes with the toe pressed down are trending, so they made “a purposeful design choice” to achieve the “same ‘toe-down’ effect” with the Deerupt.
