Which U.S. city has the highest Millennial growth rate? Philadelphia, which saw a 41% boom in its 18-34-year-old population between 2005 and 2016. The U.S. Census Bureau found their growth far outpaces the nation’s average of 15.9%. And, despite growing evidence that many urban areas have reached “peak Millennial” as more young adults move to the suburbs, the Millennial population of Philly’s suburbs only grew 17% in that time.
