Netflix is working on a new way to “gamif[y] binge-watching for kids.” The new feature would reward the youngest members of the Post-TV Gen for watching kids’ shows with “special patches.” The patches are for showing off and sharing only, as they don’t unlock anything additional. Overall, Netflix has been focusing on its kids’ content, from producing choose-your-own-adventure shows to adding more parental controls. (Kidscreen)
