Young adults are taking breaks and “seeking relief” from social media, according to a survey from Origin. Over half of 18-24-year-olds say they’re “seeking relief” from the social media machine and 41% say some social media platforms make them feel “anxious, sad, or depressed.” Why do they stay online? Seventy-seven percent think social media’s benefits outweigh its drawbacks. (Campaign US, NYP)
