Over a third of U.S. adults use Instagram, a 7% jump from 2016. The Pew Research Center’s survey also found that 73% of U.S. adults and 94% of 18-24-year-olds use YouTube, making it the most popular platform. Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter are all more popular among young Millennials as well. And while Facebook remains the most popular social media platform, its numbers have stagnated since 2016 while others continue to catch up.
