Teens are using Snapchat to spread awareness of a cause they care about: gun control. Following the tragic shooting at a Florida high school, teens have stood up for change by walking out of school. Thanks to Snapchat, their real-time activity is being documented as it occurs via Snap’s location-mapping feature Snap Maps and their curated Snapchat Stories in the Discover section. While the features only give a short glimpse into teens’ activism (just 24 hours for Discover), it’s a valuable, real-time look at their efforts. (Quartz)
