Older Millennials are the biggest-spending age group on Valentine’s Day, according to the National Retail Federation. They found that 25-34-year-olds in the U.S. plan on spending an average of $202.76, compared to an overall average of $143.56—for a cumulative total of $19.6 billion. They’re also 18% more likely than the average adult to gift an experience, instead of an item.
