More Millennials are giving to charity than any other generation—but they’re not just giving money. According to Blackbaud research, 84% of people born from 1981 to 1985 give to charity, but they only account for 11% of U.S. charitable donations. How does that add up? Because Millennials aren't just giving money. Bankrate.com found that “only 29% of Millennials favored monetary donations,” while 41% preferred to donate goods, and 27% would rather donate their time to the causes they care about.
