Wealthfront is on its way to becoming the “leading automated financial advisor for people under 40.” The fintech solution just raised another $75 million towards their goal, rivaling other auto-investing platforms like Betterment. Wealthfront wants Millennials to buy stocks, and thinks they’re more likely to trust their funds with robots rather than humans. (A theory Ypulse examined in our Fintech Rising research.) Millennials are also the right target because “[t]hey’re in the wealth accumulation phase of their life versus the wealth preservation.” (TechCrunch)
