In case you missed it…Before the holidays, Amazon escalated their feud with Google by filing for an “AmazonTube” trademark—sparking plenty of speculation that they may have a YouTube competitor in the works. The trademark application describes AmazonTube as “providing non-downloadable pre-recorded audio, visual and audiovisual works via wireless networks on a variety of topics of general interest.” So clearly there is more than a little overlap in what the services would provide.
