YouTube Kids’ latest update customizes the app based on age, giving personalization-loving consumers more perks. After entering a birth date, the app will adjust aesthetically, displaying more videos per page for older users, and more text than for younger ones. Users can also set a password to keep siblings off their profiles, but parents can override it. Speaking of parents, they’ll have new customization features too, to better monitor their family’s use of the app by blocking certain content or making more “tween skewing content” show. (Kidscreen)
