Sephora’s own employees are starring in its “most diverse campaign yet.” We’re at a diversity tipping point, and young customers are demanding more inclusive campaigns. Brands like Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty (which went viral) are paving the way, and Sephora is following suit, fast. More than 1,000 Sephora employees submitted videos on “what beauty means to them,” and ten were selected to star in the ads. They include an Oregon-native with alopecia who wants to represent “people who are suffering from hair loss or any form of just physically looking different” and an LA resident who wants to “show a different side of beauty for guys.” (Racked)
