Risqué photos are getting high-tech security with a new app to identify and discretely store nudes on phones. The appropriately named Nudes app uses “machine learning libraries” to scan camera rolls for naked pics, and then move them to a secure section of the app guarded by a personal PIN. But don’t worry, nothing is sent to Nude; instead, the pics are simply transferred within your phone. The app is the brainchild of two 21-year-old UC Berkeley students who get feedback like, “‘Oh I don’t have nudes — but can you tell me more?’” (The Verge)
