Millennials aren’t taking Boomers’ spots on the ski slopes as older generations age out of the sport. Ski resorts are seeing the number of young skiers flatline, as 20-36-year-olds ski and snowboard less and spend less money when they do. The president of National Ski Areas Association says the generation is in “the stage of life that regularly drops skiing because of everything else they are doing,” and others think younger skiers are priced out of parks. Resorts are hoping to stave the trend with marketing reach outs, affordable options, and interesting vacation packages. (ParkRecord)
