From the Rain Room to the Museum of Ice Cream, art is getting undeniably more Instagrammable—and some are seen as “a series of Instagram backdrops.” The way people are interacting with exhibits has changed, as more pieces and collections are curated to create the perfect pic and young visitors line up in droves to visit more photographable exhibits (aka “selfie factories”). Not all have the ‘gram in mind as they make their exhibit (or at least they claim not to), but some (like the Color Factory) are making decisions in favor of looking better on social media. (Wired)
