Keds is 101 years old, and they’re making changes to keep up with today’s young consumers. The old-school sneakers are coming to more stores next year, “enabl[ing] the brand to breathe more extensively.” They partnered up with Rifle Paper and Kate Spade New York for more premium buyers (there’s even a rose gold shoe for kids), and are bringing back Pro-Keds (their male streetwear sneaker) for nostalgic shoppers. Last but not least, their “Ladies for Ladies” initiative highlights female entrepreneurs with capsule collections for their core female consumers. (FN)
