Good news for Marie Claire—contrary to popular belief, it turns out Millennials still like perusing physical stores. First Insight found that 71% of 18-25-year-olds visit multiple stores on a shopping trip, while only 57% of Baby Boomers say they do the same. They attribute their behavior to digital natives seeking “the treasure hunting experience.” RetailMeNot’s CMO explains, “The store is still alive and well…The majority of consumers say they still want to go into the store, and retailers are still seeing a lot of activity in stores.” (CNBC)
