Millennials and Gen X have a lot in common when it comes to TV—but not everything. According to Rotten Tomatoes, they both think Netflix has the best content, they’re both more likely to stream rather than watch traditional TV, and the top means of discovery for both is word of mouth or “overall buzz about the show.” However, Gen X is still more likely to watch network-produced shows while the Post-TV Gen prefers Netflix originals, and over half of 35-54-year-olds are more likely to watch weekly while 62% of 18-34-year-olds would rather binge. One last thing no one (including Ypulse) is surprised about: Game of Thrones is both generations’ favorite show. (Business Insider)
