Women might spend more time gaming on mobile than men, according to data from Jun Group. Sixty percent of females reported playing smartphone games daily compared to less than half of males. Their top reasons for playing? To relax, to “pass the time,” or to have fun. Among young consumers, according to Ypulse data, male and female smartphone owners 13-35-years-old are neck-and-neck for weekly use of mobile games at 40% and 38%, but 18-24-year-old females beat out males by 5%.
