So far, short-form viral videos are racking up the most views on Facebook’s Watch. “Longer-form, TV-like episodes” were supposed to reign supreme, but instead, a four-and-a-half minute pranking video has taken the top spot with over 22 million views. While viral content is racking up the most views, there are some wins for “Facebook-funded shows,” too, like Mike Rowe’s Returning the Favor and Condé Nast Entertainment’s Virtually Dating. Facebook counts a view at just three seconds though, so it may be too soon to say longer shows are less of a success. (Variety)
