Retailers might want to rethink how they’re marketing to Millennial men.

Retailers might want to rethink how they’re marketing to Millennial men. A report from the Doneger Group shows that 48% of men see style as self-expression, and that number rises for younger men—while more older men define it as “a pain.” Most describe their personal style as “basic,” so it’s no surprise that only 18% say they’re influenced by brand names. An Engagement Labs report supports that younger men are showing a greater interest in beauty and apparel overall; in fact, they’re almost as likely as females to talk about beauty and apparel these days.
