YouTuber Jake Paul and Disney’s split shows that social media stars and media conglomerates don’t always have the same goals. The Bizaardvark star and so-called “reality villain” parted ways with Disney after his social media antics escalated to the point of infuriating his neighbors—who said he turned a “quiet neighborhood” into a “war zone.” Paul was already spending less time on the Disney show and more time focusing on his own efforts, like building a giant water slide in his backyard.
