Brandless.com is selling everything on their site for three dollars by “cut[ing] out supermarkets and traditional marketing.” Though the “no-brand brand” irks some, they’re hoping Loyal-ish young consumers will be on board—Ypulse found two in five Gen Z and Millennials don’t care about brand names when they shop. Brandless is betting on their wandering eye with their simple product packaging and lack of marketing, selling anything from home goods to personal care products without a premium—except the $72 minimum for free shipping.
