So far, social media shopping has been a pipe dream—Twitter’s buy button flopped and even product-focused Pinterest couldn’t get customers to check out. But fashionista-beloved Instagram, which has been chasing the retail dream for a while now, might just pull it off when paired with Nike—the most followed brandon the platform as the non-tech brand Millennials and Gen Z see as most-innovative.
