Several stats show Millennial women are worse off than Boomers when it comes to “economic equality, health, and overall wellbeing.” Both poverty and incarceration rates have risen from one generation of women to the next, while working in STEM is less likely, and committing suicide has become more common. The study from the Population Reference Bureau shows “lost momentum” from mother to daughter, suggesting that after a period of rapid positive change for women, progress has stagnated. (Fortune)
