For the first time, long-form video is reportedly dominating streaming on every screen. Ooyala’s global study found that 63% percent of video viewing time is spent with content over 20 minutes in length, representing 98% of video watched on TVs, 81% of video viewed on tablets, and 65% of video watched on computers. Mobile long-content viewing is also (unsurprisingly) on the rise, reaching a record high of 57% of all video plays. Premium content becoming more mobile-friendly may account for the increase.
