Millennials delaying parenthood have made history: For the first time, women in their thirties are having more children than 20-somethings. The difference is only one child in 100,000, but the trend continues to favor so-called “geriatric” mothers. Overall, the birth rate dropped and unsurprisingly, the average age women are having their first child has risen to 28. This lines up with Ypulse's data on relationships and future plans, which shows both males and females are planning to have children at about age 31. (Jezebel)
