MTV is airing a new reality show about the crazy ways teens are asking each other to prom. Promposal focuses on a new couple every episode, helping teens ask their dates in the most elaborate ways they can dream up—the first episode involves a pep rally with the entire junior class. The network is in the middle of a rewind to their reality show heyday, bringing back classics like Sweet Sixteen, Parental Control, and Total Request Live. They’re “run[ning] back into youth culture—where [they] really made [their] mark,” starting with prom. (The Verge)
