American teens are spending their money on food and athleisure. According to Piper Jaffray’s latest survey, eating out accounts for almost a quarter of U.S. teens’ budget, with Chick-fil-A taking the top spot of restaurants preferred by the group, followed by Starbucks. Over four in ten teens named an athletic apparel brand as their preferred apparel brand, an increase of 15% from 2016, and Nike and Adidas were the top athleisure brands preferred by the group.
