An innovative Burger King ad that engaged Google home devices has hit a snag. Yesterday the restaurant released a 15-second TV ad that activated Google home devices to list all the ingredients in a Whopper sandwich by asking “Okay Google, what is the Whopper burger?” Many caught on, going to Wikipedia to add “troll-tastic” ingredients to Burger King’s page so devices could repeat them. Google pulled the capability after the spot was live for three hours, but the effort nonetheless earned the brand some buzz. (Fortune, The Verge)
